With a 'flat' module you can create a very wide variety of gains if needed. In almost all cases a gain between 0.5x and 10x will be all that is needed. Between 2x and 5x is the most common gain.

I had some 12K resistors left over so replaced R102 & R202 with those. This got me to about 9 o'clock on the pot with the spirit pro's which is far enough to lose the pot imbalance.
Thanks for the help Frans. Time to do some listening and build some filters....

Good evening to you all! My first post here... I wonder, are the boards for a Kameleon 2.1 + power supply still available? After using a fair number of headphones (HD250 linear II, HD25 600 Ohm - HMD with mic removed -, DT770 Pro 250 Ohm, WH-CH700N) it was finally time to buy a (new) HD600. I love the tonal balance of it, but I also would like a bit more low frequency extension. Musical taste is fairly eclectic, so I need the entire spectrum Is there a filter that extends the lows but doesn't touch the highs of the HD600? Or can the 580/600 filter be modified? Thanks!

The power supply boards are out of stock and I need to order these. Kameleon and filter boards are in stock.
The HD600 filter also lowers the 3kHz region a bit but this can be removed and only bass boost will be there in that case.

I like to order 2 desktop Kameleon boards and 2 filter boards (HD600) now.
Any idea on when the new psu boards will be available again?

The good news is that the power supply boards have been ordered, the bad news is that it may take up to a month to arrive (sent by slow boat)

Would somebody be willing to make a Kameleon amp for money?

When building the amp in a single enclosure with the recommended transformer rating (30VA/2x15v) and 230/240 mains what rating MOV do you recommend for the protection of spikes/surges from the mains supply. Thanks.

Just search for 230VAC MOV's (or TVS / varistor) and select one that can handle the amount of Joules you want it to handle. Perhaps something above 10mm diameter ?
These will clamp to around 600V which is what most equipment can handle safely (short peaks)
