Here you go Simon.. Download & install the trial version of Sonarworks and you're good to go. If you fancy trying to create your own curve you'll need something like EasyQ

Sonarworks is doing a spectacular job with Wrecking Ball by Emmylou Harris. At last there is real definition in the bass. Where before there was mud, now there is structure. Superb! The harmonies are now even more clearly defined than they were before & Emmylou's lead vocal is allowed to reach right up to precisely one-notch below sibilance. Very sweet!

He goes a bit quick doesn't he? It looks as though you unpack and have to physically move it into the 'plug ins' folder. Then it needs to be installed within Foobar which should see it...... Get a Kameleon!!! Techboy, you still think it's self-explanatory? Go on then .....

There is a desktop version but it might be a Seaside Special.
Personally, I don't like being tied to the computer.

Go to Plugins. Add the .DLL file there. Then choose from DSP Manager. It is self explanatory only if you know how to install a plugin in Foobar. If you've never installed a plugin before, it isn't self explanatory.

If you want, I can call you and explain step by step in front of a computer. It should just take 3/4 steps or so.

That's a bloody long way to call Aakshey!! The poor man might think he's doing a BT help call. All of their help lines send you to India!!! Maybe we should all set up a conference call one night a week on Skype so we can laugh at each other ...... I'd promise to wear a mask and not sit in my undies.

British Telecom. In the UK, lines are provided by BT for phones and broadband. I'm with BT and get a speed of 37mb which isn't too bad.
However, get a problem and their customer services are situated in India so your call goes directly there, where some guy with an Indian accent deals with your problem from a daft script that BT provide for them.
Tbh, the system doesn't work at all because the 'fixes' that they provide are plain silly. Most common one is 'have you tried disconnecting and waiting for ten seconds before turning on again?' It's the kind of things that most people would automatically do and you feel as though they're taking you for an idiot.
The other problem is that the operators can be very hard to understand because of their accents.
In my last property, I was on the phone to India for nearly an hour before he decided to call out the UK engineers for me. The fault was outside!!! However, they make you go through all of these procedures while they wait on the phone before they'll call anyone out, so they then contact the UK to get someone out to you.
It's actually cheaper for BT to pay operators in India; even with phone costs than it is to have it here in the UK!!!

I agree with the above except the accent thing. I don't have a problem with Indian accent. lol But yea, Indian customer care executives are usually idiots. AMEX is an exception.

Well, I have an accent but it's nothing like that one!!!
My older sister was born in India. In Calcutta because my Dad at that time was in the British army as a gunner. My Mum followed him out there and then had a baby. In those days, (40's) it was considered really bad for army people to mix with the local Indian people and unfortunately, my sister as a baby, started speaking the language because they had locals working for them. She learned the accent from a chai walli. Once she started speaking the language for real, my Mum and Dad brought her here to England where she had an accent. The British army people really looked down on my Mum and Dad once they heard that!!
Over the years, it changed to the same accent as me, then she went up to the midlands in the UK and now she sounds like someone from a programme here in the UK called Coronation Street because ahe has a strong northern accent!!
Understanding the Indian accent on the phone is hard though unfortunately! Probably not for you though.....

I have the paid versions of both Accudio Pro and Sonarworks for Headphones. Both are pretty good. I use Sonarworks much more because I mostly use my PC for music. But Accudio has a far bigger list of supported headphones. Do you feel Kamaleon is a significant audible upgrade portability aside? I don't care about it being portable as much. I am more interested in learning whether an analogue filter is technically better than a digital filter or is that irrelevant? I may go in for a Kameleon in a few months. But have not made up my mind yet.
