You've done well, Simon. Not that many go out for sale. I think a lot of people hold on to them tbh. They sold at a quite high price and they seem to hold a pretty good value normally. Presumably, you've seen pictures and their comdition os ok? You can buff the cups if they're scuffed as I said earlier. They come out with a glass like finish.

Congrats Simon. Hope you enjoy them!
I watched both listings ending and things certainly started to hot up on the 2nd listing. £143 still isn't a bad price - seen them go for a lot higher.
Hard to tell from the pics but I have a sneaky suspicion you might have got the better conditioned one. Cable was a bit messy on the other listing all still not bad as have seen a lot lot worse. Should know in a couple of days I guess but don't think you'll have any problems with the seller.
Would love to know where they got them from. Unusual to see a pair come up at the same time.

That was just a wee nod to my stupidity at deleting my last account when I decided to take a wee hiatus from all things internet (had some real life stuff going on and wasn't thinking straight).

These were the first headphones I drooled over about 4/5 years back... Then I listened to the D5000, which I preferred and was superior imo, but couldn't afford them. I would still have a D2000 for the right price

Yes Ian kindly carried over my old post count to help hide my blushes You shouldn't have that as your avatar Mark. If anything, it should be me. Seriously, if you don't change it, I'll stick something bad in!!! Not stupid, perfectly understandable. I'm the stupid one. However, everything has worked out really well in both cases. I've been freed to be me and know that I have some good friends and you're back in as you were. So watch out, it might be an enforced change to a transvestite or something!!!!

I bet it was over how much time you spend on the internet. I'm very lucky with my wife. She likes to see me actually enjoying myself because I can be a miserable old bugger.

I would still have a D2000 for the right price I have a d2000 which is absolutely briliiant. I also wish I'd bought a D7000 though tbh. I'm hoping that they might be re released eventually, but the trouble is, if they were, they'd up the price to the now more standard £1000 thanks to our new breed of supposed 'ultimate' headphones that get re released as 'more ultimate' in the case of the hd800!!

the d2000 arrived today. i dont think they have been used. still had the protective tape holding the cups into the headband. cant see anyone going to that much trouble to re-pack. absolutely perfect as new!! certainly not as bass heavy as the d600. another good buy, i reckon.

not gonna make any knee jerk reactions, but the d600 can pack its suitcase just in case!
