I am really a beer drinker, no buts about it. That's my man Gordon, same here Latest adventure was Saturday night in my almost finished tiki bar - 8.00pm to 3.00am slowly drinking beer and more importantly listening to music for 7 hours through an old laptop connected to an even older jvc amp into some reclaimed pc speakers, so we were not listening to HIFI purely the music and it was brilliant. my mate Gary on the left and me having a laugh. All the girls having a good time

Every time I've been to Ireland, Ive been dragged around the Guinness factory and ended up totally pissed. They always tell me I'm drinking the sniffy Liffey. (The river) then I end up walking through Dublin, giving money to all the musicians on the streets there!!! So I go home broke as well as out of it.......
Love Guinness.

Good on you Alan, it would be a shame to let this thread die even though it has nothing to do with DIY Audio - but then again it does! I cannot think of a better combination than listening to some new recommended music from the forum and supping some tasty beers also recommended by the forum it totally relaxes me after a hard days work unlike TV which bores the S**T out of me My tipple tonight will be some Wychwood Special Reserve KING GOBLIN @ 6.6% really looking forward to drinking that while listening to some good muisc to drown out the X Factor on TV

Sure have Simon, and the Old speckled hen among quite few hundred more bottled beers - you would think I was an Alcoholic I must have misunderstood the meaning of the AA driving school when I joined them, I was sure it meant alcoholics anonymous driving school and get out of bed at dinner time and teach people to drive if you can be bothered.

I'm loath to sully this good beer thread with a lager (even though it's called a 'beer'), but I'd like to draw your attention to a "Beer" I've come across called . . . Cubanisto . I found it in my local Morrison's although it's probably available in most supermarkets. Cubanista - Rum flavoured beer. It's actually a lager, but it's a smooth, non-gassy lager, so very easy to drink. And boy, I mean it's really easy to drink!
