I've brought mine with me to the beach this holidays, I've used it every day and I'm extremely happy with it. It really is a great little device.

It has oodles of power as well and seems to drive anything really well; even down to an iem. Felt wobbly when I first got it, but now I have it, I wouldn't do without it. |

As my amp is balck it'll be a better match than my current silver micro thoguh for some reason I' doubt the improvmentes will be hearable or perhaps even measurable. That said, if I didn't have one and the price wass the same as the current one, I'll certainly get it.

i certainly wont be upgrading my unit.
i use mine solely as a dac, as there is no way to use Kameleon otherwise.

My iDSD has failed on the right DAC input side, all three inputs,optical SPDIF and USB.
I hope I am as lucky at getting a repair!
Not very impressed how quickly it has failed but a useful little unit. I see a new one is £475 now.

That's two gone down now. I think Simon had his stop working last year. I hope it's a cheap repair for you, Syd.

I hope it's a cheap repair for you, Syd. indeed i did. support from AMR was 2nd to none, even though my unit was 2nd hand and out of warranty. cost me around £87. they had to fit a new main pc board. price included parts, labour, return shipping and vat. its a no brainer over buying another new unit. hope they sort you out as well as they did me.
i had a stroke of luck while my unit was in for repair.
basically i did not want to wait for it and bagged myself an ex-demo mojo from audio-t.
when the idsd returned i sold the mojo on ebay and actually made a profit!!
could not believe my luck.
