No not nearly but you can 'hitch along' on my shipping costs that I have to make anyway. Shipping the padded band in an envelope only costs around 2E. ok Frans i am up for that. just let me know how much i owe you and i can paypal (gift) it over. thanks mate.

I don't think Frans has designed a card for a D600. just as well mate as i am gonna tighten my belt for a couple of months now. may just get the headband just to see if it improves things further. but i would be interested later in the year!

The headband itself is E 7.- (around GBP 5.5) + shipping costs, these will depend on the weight and will be between E 2.- and E 3.- I reckon. If there are more people interested I may order some more. Will buy one myself as well. Also am buying one of these: its a HD25 headpad (sticky back) These are E 6,- I use 2 of them under the T50RP headband which feels more pleasant to my bald head than the rubber slab. Thomann also has pads for DT770, DT990, Sennheiser and Shure SRH940, SRH840 alas no SRH1540 pads (these are expensive !)

Frans, if you can be bothered with all the wrapping, I could use another two Beyer bands.
Just concerned that you have to wrap loads of packets up for people.

Ok, thanks, Frans. If you pm paypal and amount as soon as you know postage, I'll send it over. Many thanks.
I just thought, if a few of us all were after something, you could hit fee postage!!!

i wish i had my d7000 back to compare with these d600's. i can say isolation is far better now. i may try a movie tonight with them.
going from memory i would not swap these with my , now sold, ultrasone pro900.

I think you may be going through what I went through, Simon.
1. Massive bass 2. Actually, they go higher than I first thought. 3. Bass isn't as loud as I first thought. (Brain adjustment?) 4. These are better than I first thought. 5. Compare with something else. 6. These aren't bad. 7. Movies ...... WOW these sound theatrical. 8. I like these headphones. Unusual, but nice.
Forget the reviews. They're all over the place. These do more than you'd first think. They also resolve more than you'd think. The bass focuses your listening at first and you don't hear the rest.
That's what I found anyway.
Comparing with a K550 shows differences to be less than you'd imagine. Yes, less quantity of bass but resolves easily as well on good recordings.
Underestimated and put down because of the bass!!
THE most comfortable headphone I've ever worn portable. Reasonable seal. Sub bass is actually present .......... in a headphone!! There is a real sense of occasion and luxury about their sound.
They didn't sell well because they were too high in price.

The future of headphones? ..........l Someone will realise that headphones reproduce bass very poorly and will redefine flat. Think full blown floorstanders rather than bookshelf monitors, and you'll hear how close they get. They're like Proacs on your head!!

No, totally naked. You kind of adjust and start to recognise their strengths. You're probably focused in on tonal stuff at the moment. Wait til you hear the detail in with that lush, floor speaker sound. Frans wouldn't probably like the bass amount I suspect, but it does provide 'inside' listening. He would 'filter' it down, but it does have very good extension, both ways. You'll notice it more on films, where you'll hear sub dialogue and a theatrical kind of realism in the soundtrack that I've never heard in any other headphone.

Frans if it is enough to get your order on free delivery , i could use a set of pads for my old hd280. i totally forgot about these. they only need pads and a headband cushion (one of the 2 i mentioned earlier). the (coiled) cable is a tad tangled , but i reckon i could change that my self with a straight cable. happy to paypal upfront of course.
